Meet the Greystone Monticello Leadership Team

Greystone Monticello’s leadership team consists of industry veterans, with decades of experience in Multifamily Senior Housing finance and operations.

Greystone Monticello Alan Litt, Principal
Principal

Mr. Litt brings over 30 years of intensive real estate finance, development and construction experience to the organization. Mr. Litt was President (2000-2010) and then Chairman (2010-Present) of The Kohl Companies (Kohl Solutions and Kohl Construction Group) developing, owning and operating skilled nursing facilities and multifamily housing, including market rate and affordable housing financed through low income housing and historic tax credits. Mr. Litt has deep knowledge in working with regulated businesses. He is a recent Trustee of Yonkers Partners in Education and the Advisory Council for Provident Bank, and a consultant to various not-for-profit religious, healthcare and educational institutions in the New York Metropolitan Area. Mr. Litt received a B.S. Degree in Finance from New York University (1981).

Greystone Monticello Thomas Lally, Principal
Principal

Mr. Lally began his career at the inception of the mortgage securitization era and has continued for over 30 years as the arena has grown vastly in product and depth. He was most recently a Managing Director and trader of mortgage backed securities at Ladder Capital from 2009 to 2014. Prior to Ladder Capital, Mr. Lally was a Managing Director in the multifamily and commercial origination and trading efforts at First Boston (1982-1989), Merrill Lynch (1989-1991), Daiwa Securities (1991-1994), Greystone (1994-1997 and 2007-2009), UBS / Principal Finance (1997-2007). Mr. Lally holds a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross (1977).

Greystone Monticello Jonathan Litt, principal
Principal

Mr. Litt served as the Chief Executive Officer for Kohl Construction Group (2000-Present) which provided construction services within the New York Metropolitan area. The firm specialized in building skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, independent senior housing as well as facilities for nonprofit religious organizations. During this same time, Mr. Litt also served as the Executive Vice President of Kohl Solutions, which specialized in developing and operating skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, independent senior housing, affordable housing, mixed use retail and multifamily residential as well as industrial/warehouse assets in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Mr. Litt was an advisor to the Northern Metropolitan, Inc., a not-for-profit senior housing organization in Rockland County, NY. In addition, he also served as the Treasurer for Congregation Kol Ami in White Plains, NY. Mr. Litt holds a B.S. from Ithaca College.

As Founder and CEO of Greystone, Mr. Rosenberg is responsible for the coordination and management of corporate matters. He founded Greystone in 1988 as an independent investment banking firm and has since developed it into a mature investment firm with a national reputation. Mr. Rosenberg leads Greystone as it successfully distinguishes itself in its creative approach and drive to provide solutions for its clients. Prior to founding Greystone, Mr. Rosenberg was a National Director with Dean Witter Reynolds. He holds a D.M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School.

Greystone Monticello Gregory McManus, CEO

Mr. McManus brings over 30 years of executive-level oversight at multi-billion-dollar CRE firms, In his previous role at Greystone, Mr. McManus was Chief Growth Officer responsible for identifying new areas of expansion for the firm, which is a top FHA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lender. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, risk management, restructuring and building teams. Prior to Greystone, Mr. McManus was Chief Executive Officer of Daibes Enterprises, a private CRE investor and developer. He was also previously Chief Executive Officer of Rockwood Real Estate Advisors, a national investment sales platform, and held the same role at Ventras Holdings, a CDO management company. Mr. McManus also spent 10 years in various roles including Chief Financial Officer at Capmark, including as head of capital markets of GMAC Commercial Real Estate. Mr. McManus holds a Bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University and an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
